By my count, the PhoCusWright Conference in Phoenix last week utilized at least 49 different hashtags, but that by no means gave them a corner on the market.

There were several other major conferences held that covered Word of Mouth Marketing, Web 2.0, Twitter, Innovation, Mobile, European Startups and another travel industry tradition, the New York Hotel Show. Even COMDEX rose from the ashes as a virtual event.
